It's raining this morning. With lightning and thunder. Which makes me think of rainless days...
This is the first sunrise I took in George Town, Penang, all the way in 2005. The view was from the Eastern & Oriental Hotel.
I've moved to Penang. This is the view from my verandah in Batu Ferringgi. Photo taken in 2010.
And I started to learn about shooting sunsets, taking photos all evening long, until the night sky came in and brought out the stars. This photo was from 2015.
I also look out for cloud cover, of course. This cumulus cloud was taken (in BW) at 6:59 am, May 2023.
Frankly speaking, I'm not very good at shooting sunsets and other landscape-y thingies. I'm still learning.
The house here is enveloped in clouds. No fun photographing that! But when it lifts some, good possibilities appear. I will send you one that I like. (from the past)
